Tammy’s Low Carb Baked Ricotta Cakes

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 egg whites beaten
  • cup sugar-free syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Place the ricotta cheese in a bowl and break it up with a wooden spoon

  3.  Add the beaten egg whites, syrup and vanilla. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined

  4. Lightly grease four small ramekins or use a greased muffin tray

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the ricotta cakes have risen and are golden brown

Recipe Notes

Great served either warm or chilled. We add some berries or a little sugar-free jam for toppings.
