Melanie’s Low Carb Brownies


  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate can be any brand as long as it’s unsweetened
  • 1 and a half sticks of butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Vanilla flavoring
  • 1 cup Splenda or NoSugar
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 3 eggs


  1. Melt chocolate and butter together in microwave or in a double boiler.
  2. Blend well.
  3. Add sugar and vanilla until well blended.
  4. Mix in the eggs and then the almond flour.
  5. Bake in a well-greased 8x8x2 baking pan at 350 fahrenheit or 180 degrees celsius for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out almost clean.

Recipe Notes

Splenda can produce a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. Free free to substitute with a different sugar substitute as long as it is not a sugar alcohol.
