Low Carb Pizza Sauce

  • 400 g/14.11 oz Tomatoes
  • 50 g /1.76 oz Diced Red Onion
  • 5 g/0.18 oz Chopped Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 5 g/0.18 oz Fresh or Dried Oregano
  • A handful chopped basil


  • Heat the Olive Oil in a saucepan
  • Add the chopped onion and a pinch of salt. Fry until the onion is translucent
  • Add the chopped garlic and cook until golden brown
  • Add the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper
  • Cover and cook for 10 minutes
  • Add the oregano and basil and cook for another 3 minutes
  • Add the butter at the end of cooking


For an added punch, add some chili flakes.
